In the afternoon, we arrive in Pamukkale and visit the famous white travertine terraces. Walking on these natural thermal formations feels like stepping into another world. The calcium-rich waters that cascade over the terraces can reach up to 35°C, offering both beauty and healing. This surreal landscape is truly one of a kind, not only in Turkey but in the entire world.
📍 Hierapolis Ancient City & Cleopatra Pool
Right next to the travertines lies the ancient Roman city of Hierapolis. You'll explore its well-preserved ruins and soak up the rich cultural and historical atmosphere. If you wish, you can swim in Cleopatra's Pool—an ancient thermal bath believed to have healing properties (entrance fee not included).
After a full day of exploration, we head to our thermal hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. The hotel’s thermal pool and Turkish bath are available for you to enjoy free of charge.
🕊️ Day Two: Cultural Highlights & Turkey’s Maldives
If you’re interested, you can start the day with an optional sunrise balloon-viewing experience (extra charge). After breakfast, we visit Karahayıt Village, known for its naturally red thermal waters. It’s a great place to take unique photos and learn more about the region’s healing springs.
Next, we visit local textile outlets and souvenir shops. Denizli is a world-renowned hub for textile production, and you’ll find high-quality items at reasonable prices.
Our final stop is the stunning Salda Lake, known as the "Maldives of Turkey." With its crystal-clear turquoise water and white sandy shores, it’s the perfect location to take a walk, relax, and snap beautiful photos. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy drinks and snacks by the lakeside.
